No. Many clients come to me without a formal diagnosis but with a strong suspicion that ADHD is part of their picture. We can work together regardless. If a formal evaluation would be useful, I can help connect you with resources.
No. As a therapist, I don't prescribe medication. If you're interested in exploring medication, I can coordinate with your prescriber or help you find one.
This is very common. ADHD, anxiety, and OCD frequently co-occur, and I specialize in all three. We'll address your full presentation rather than treating each diagnosis in isolation.
I keep my caseload intentionally small so I can maintain availability for new clients. If I am currently at capacity, I will let you know right away and will not leave you without options.
New clients start with a 60-minute intake session. This gives us enough time to cover your history, what you are working on, and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. It is also a chance for you to ask me questions and get a feel for how I work. There is no pressure to commit to anything before you feel ready.
That depends entirely on what you are working on. Some clients reach their goals in 12 to 20 sessions. Others work with me longer. I will always be transparent about where we are and what I think the timeline looks like. I am not in the business of keeping people in therapy longer than they need.
Yes, flexibility for clients with ADHD is very important to me.
My current availability includes weeknights until 6pm Central Time, as well as Saturday mornings from 8:30am-noon. I do my best to accommodate different schedules. Reach out and we can find something that works.
I use a HIPAA-compliant video platform. You will receive a link before each session. No downloads are required. All you need is a private space, a steady surface to set your phone or laptop, and a reliable internet connection.
Yes. I am in-network with BCBS MN. I also accept cash pay clients. You can confirm your specific benefits by calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card.
I am not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please call or text 911, or contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. You can also go to your nearest emergency room.
